Welcome to sokoon (Sokoon AI), a digital wellness platform that offers an AI-powered self-reflection platform. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of sokoon. By accessing or using sokoon, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

II. Eligibility

II.a. Minimum Age

• You must be at least 18 years old to use sokoon. Do not use sokoon if you are under 18.

II.b. User Commitments

By using sokoon, you confirm that:

• You are 18 years of age or older
• The information you provide is accurate
• You have read and accepted these Terms and our Privacy Policy

III. Account Creation and Security

• You must register using a valid email address and create a secure password
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• Unauthorized use must be reported immediately to the support team

sokoon reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations or suspicious activity.

IV. Subscriptions and Payments

• sokoon offers both free-tier access and paid subscriptions
• All payments are securely processed via Lemon Squeezy
• Subscriptions are billed in advance and auto-renew unless canceled
• Refunds may be requested within 3 days of purchase (subject to pro-rated usage)
• Subscription prices may change with 30 days' prior notice

V. Platform Disclaimer

By using sokoon, you acknowledge and agree:

• sokoon is not a licensed healthcare provider or clinical service
• sokoon does not offer diagnoses, treatment plans, or medical advice
• AI responses may contain inaccuracies, limitations, or triggering language
• You are solely responsible for how you interpret or act on sokoon's responses

VI. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to:

• Release sokoon, its team, and partners from all legal claims resulting from use
• Hold sokoon harmless for any harm, outcome, or interpretation resulting from AI interaction
• Accept full responsibility for your choices and outcomes while using the platform

VII. Privacy and Data Handling

• All data, including conversations, is stored encrypted
• Data is stored securely on GDPR-compliant infrastructure with strict access controls

VII.b. Use of Data

• Your personal data will never be sold or shared

VII.c. Access & Deletion

• You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time from the app itself
• All verified deletion requests will be honored within 30 days, barring legal exceptions

VIII. Communication Preferences

By registering, you agree to receive:

• Mandatory system alerts and transaction confirmations
• Optional updates, wellness content, and feedback prompts (you may opt-out anytime)

IX. Intellectual Property

• All content, branding, software, and system design are property of Sokoon AI.
• Users retain rights to personal input and journals

X. Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use sokoon for unlawful, threatening, or defamatory purposes
• Harass, exploit, or impersonate others
• Disrupt platform functionality or attempt to reverse-engineer any part of sokoon
• Use scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access or extract content

Violation of these rules may result in permanent suspension or legal action.

• sokoon may occasionally experience downtime due to updates or system maintenance
• AI-generated responses may be flawed, incomplete, or contextually inappropriate

• sokoon does not provide medical, legal, or clinical advice
• Emotional content may occasionally feel misaligned or triggering due to AI limitations

XII. Account Suspension or Termination

sokoon reserves the right to terminate or restrict your account for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Security threats or legal requests
• Any behavior deemed harmful to the platform or community

XIII. Third-Party Links

sokoon may include links to external websites or wellness resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, policies, or terms of those third-party platforms.

XIV. Terms Revisions

These Terms may be updated to reflect:

• Regulatory compliance
• Platform changes
• User feedback and operational updates

Changes are effective upon publication. We will notify users of material updates via email or in-app notification.

XV. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, or the breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall be finally settled under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) by one arbitrator appointed in accordance with the said Rules.
